Description

I will review the latest experimental results of heavy-ion physics, focussing on results from the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) and the Relativistic Heavy-Ion Collider (RHIC). A particular emphasis is given on the topic of collectivity in small systems, i.e. the paradigm-shifting observation that experimental signatures traditionally associated with the production of a large and deconfined plasma of quarks and gluons, are also observed in small collisions systems, like proton-nucleus and even proton-proton collisions.
