Accommodation
Accommodation has been arranged for the duration of the School, from Sunday, July 2 until Friday, July 14, at the Vila Universitària UAB located in the UAB Campus, within walking distance from the Institute of Space Sciences.
Apartments are shared by two persons and include cooking facilities. The cost per person in a shared apartment for the full duration of the School is 280€ (+10% taxes).
Reservations will be handled directly by the organization.

The Institute of Space Sciences and the Vila Universitària are located at the Campus of the Universitat Autonòma de Barcelona (UAB), close to Bellaterra and about 20 km away from downtown Barcelona. You can check the location of Vila Univesitària here: https://goo.gl/maps/ej8LUPzFSTp
From downtown Barcelona to the UAB Campus (Institute and Vila Universitària) Take the FGC train line S2 (general link here, and link for S2 line here) departing from Plaza Catalunya and stopping at the Bellaterra or Universitat Autonòma (UAB) stops (maps below). The trip is about 40 minutes. You will need a 1-zone ticket (there are multiple options: Senzill: 2,40 euros for 1 single ride; T-causal: 11,35 euros for a pack of 10 tickets; T-usual: 20,00 euros for unlimited trips during 30 days; T-dia: 10,50 euros for unlimited trips during 1 day).
From the Barcelona (El Prat) airport to the UAB Campus The only direct transportation from the airport to the UAB Campus is a taxi. It is a 30-40 minutes drive up to 1 hour in rush hour. The cost of the service is around 40-50 €. Alternatively, take the bus service Aerobus (link here) directly from the airport terminals to Plaça Catalunya (5,90 €) and then from there to the Campus UAB by FGC train (see above).
