Founded in 1968, it is one of the most prestigious universities in Spain. The Institute of Space Sciences (ICE-CSIC) is located on its campus in Cerdanyola del Vallès (Barcelona). There are plenty of green areas to walk around and cafés in the different faculties where you can relax and have a drink. There are also libraries and a multitude of services.
The meeting venue
The meeting will take place at the Institute of Space Sciences (ICE-CSIC). The building is equipped with a cafeteria, conference room and a terrace for coffee breaks.

Of course, for those who want to extend their stay and enjoy a weekend in Barcelona, there are plenty of leisure options available.
The natural surroundings include Collserola Natural Park, where there are numerous hiking trails to enjoy.
Inside you can find the Tibidabo. With a theme park, its temple and incredible views of the city of Barcelona.
