Destination: The institute is located in the UAB campus, in Cerdanyola del Vallès, Spain (link to Google maps). To get to the ICE, the directions of Google maps are generally accurate, including those regarding public transportation and their schedules. Regardless, we include some information below, and anyone should feel free to contact the organizers with questions.
Transportation from Barcelona-El Prat Airport (BCN) to ICE:
- Public transportation: It is possible to buy different tickets that include all transport (train, bus, metro). In this link you can find information about the different cards and prices.
-
Train + train: There is a train service (R2 nord) that runs from the airport's T2 to Montcada i Reixac, where you change stations and take the train (R7) towards the university campus. These trains are operated by Renfe. The cost is 2,4€ each way, and it takes about 1hour and 30 minutes.
-
Bus + train: It is also possible to get there by a combination of bus + train. Take the aerobus (A1 or A2 depending on which terminal you arrive at) to Plaça de Catalunya and from there take the (S2) train to Universitat Autònoma. It takes about 1hour and 30 minutes, but aerobus fares are more expensive (6,75€ each way).
