This workshop is included in the activities of the working package WP25 (Light-and heavy-quark hadron spectroscopy) of the project STRONG-2020. It has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 824093.

The major topics of the workshop will cover:

    Dispersive study of $\pi K$ and $\pi\pi\rightarrow K\bar K$ scattering: threshold parameters and kappa/K^*(700) resonance determination 25m
    
    We report on our recently finished dispersive study of pion-kaon and pion-pion to kaon-antikaon scattering data. We have shown that naive fits to data fail to satisfy the dispersive representation, sometimes severely. We have then obtained a fairly simple Constrained Fit to Data set of partial waves that simultaneously describes the data and satisfy Forward, fixed-t and hyperbolic dispersion relations. Using these amplitudes inside partial-wave hypebolic dispersion relations we have confirmed thexistence of the controversial kappa/K0*(700) light meson, providing a precise determination of its parameters. We have also derived sum-rules form these dipersion relations that provide precise and model-independent values for pion-kaon threshold parameters, confirming the tension between lattice and dispersive results, as well as the leading contribution to the kaon-sigma term.

    Two- and three-particle scattering amplitudes from lattice QCD 25m
    
    The extraction of scattering amplitudes from lattice QCD simulations is reaching a mature stage. In this talk, I will review the well-established two-particle finite-volume scattering formalism, including some of our recent results for isospin-2 pion scattering at the physical point. I will also discuss the status of the formalism for the computation of three-particle scattering amplitudes from the lattice, which is becoming a hot topic in the lattice QCD community. I will show some numerical implementations of the three-particle quantization condition that allow for numerical studies of bound states. Finally, I will present some of the first applications of the three-particle finite-volume formalism to real lattice QCD data, which have observed statistical evidence for a three-pion coupling at maximal isospin.

    Heavy Quarkonium Production in pNRQCD 25m
    
    Potential NRQCD (pNRQCD) effective field theory provides expressions for decay
    rates and production cross sections of strongly coupled heavy quarkonia in
    terms of quarkonium wavefunctions and universal gluon field correlators. This
    brings in a reduction of the number of nonperturbative unknowns, and improves
    the predictive power of the nonrelativistic effective field theory approach to
    heavy quarkonium phenomenology. This also paves a way for computing
    nonperturbative matrix elements for quarkonium decay and production from first
    principles. In this talk, we present first pNRQCD predictions for exclusive
    electromagnetic production of heavy quarkonium. We also present a recent
    development in pNRQCD that may allow us to compute inclusive hadroproduction
    rates of heavy quarkonium from first principles, which has not been possible so
    far.

    Exotic hadrons in Λb → J/Ψ ϕ Λ decay 25m
    
    We study the weak decay of the $\Lambda_b$ baryon into $J/\psi\ \phi\ \Lambda$ and the possibility of formation of exotic hadrons via final state interaction in in all three final two-body channels.
    
    In the $J/\psi \, \phi$ invariant mass spectrum we study the interplay between the $X(4140)$ and the $X(4160)$ resonances. Particularly for the $X(4160)$ resonance we use a theoretical model which dynamically generates it in chiral unitarity approach [Molina, Oset, PRD80, 114013 (2009)].
    
    The $J/\psi \, \Lambda$ mass spectrum may help to identify the strange ($S=-1$) partner of the hidden-charm pentaquark recently observed by the LHCb collaboration, the existence of which has been predicted by a chiral unitary approach. We conclude that this strange pentaquark has a good chance of experimental detection if it is present in the range between $4450-4500$ MeV.
    
    In the $\phi \, \Lambda$ spectrum there is a contribution from a dynamically generated resonance at around $2160$ MeV [Oset, Ramos, EPJA44, 445 (2010)], but with the present model parameters we see a rather little chance for its experimental detection.

    Hyrbid decays in a chiral model 25m
    
    We study hybryd mesons in the framework of the extended Linear Sigma Model (eLSM). In particular, we consider the ground-state hybrids (with exotic quantum numbers $1^-+$, to which $\Pi_1(1600)$ belongs, other members till unknown) and their (also unknown) axial-vector chiral partners. We evaluate both masses and decays of these hybrid mesons into conventional quark-antiquark states, such as pseudoscalar and (pseudo)vector mesons. We also show that the decays of ground-state hybrids into $\eta-\pi$ and $\eta'-\pi$ can be understood by a an interaction term arising from the chiral anomaly.

    Event shapes for massive particles 25m
    
    In this talk I will review recent progress in the field of event shapes with massive particles. I will present "massive" schemes, emphasising their impact on the sensitivity to quark masses, and will show results for fixed-order and resummed computations up to $\rm N^2LL+ \mathcal{O}(\alpha_s)$ accuracy. For the 2-jettiness observable, cross sections at $\rm{N^3LL} + \mathcal{O}(\alpha_s^2)$ precision will be presented in the peak region, where the one is most sensitive to the top quark mass. If time permits, I will briefly cover exact computations in the large-$\beta_0$ limit of the relevant EFT matrix elements.

    Scalar spectrum in a graviton soft wall model 25m
    
    In this study we present a unified phenomenological analysis of the scalar glueball and scalar meson spectra within an AdS/QCD framework in the bottom up approach. For this purpose we generalize the recently developed graviton soft-wall (GSW) model, which has shown an excellent agreement with the lattice QCD glueball spectrum, to a description of glueballs and mesons with a unique energy scale. In this scheme, dilatonic effects, are incorporated in the metric as a deformation of the AdS space. We apply the model also to the heavy meson spectra with success. We obtain quadratic mass equations for all scalar mesons while the glueballs satisfy an almost linear mass equation. Besides their spectra, we also discuss the mixing of scalar glueball and light scalar meson states within a unified framework: the GSW model. To this aim, the light-front holographic approach, which connects the mode functions of AdS/QCD to the light-front wave functions, is applied. This relation provides the probabilistic interpretation required to properly investigate the mixing conditions.

    I shall report on predictions made for hidden charm molecular states from the meson baryon interaction which are in good agreement with the findings of the LHCb collaboration on the pentaquark states.
    Similarly, predictions were done for a molecular exotic state from the D Kbar interaction which also agree with the LHCb findings of the X0(2866). Another state was predicted from the meson-baryon decuplet interaction, an Omega excited state, which again is in very good agreement with the recent Belle findings of the Omega(2012) state.

    Interpretation of the LHCb Pc States as Hadronic Molecules and Hints of a narrow Pc(4380) 25m
    
    Three hidden-charm pentaquark $P_c$ states, $P_c(4312)$, $P_c(4440)$, and $P_c(4457)$ were revealed in the $\Lambda_b^0\to J/\psi p K^-$ process measured by LHCb using both run I and run II data. For the first time, such an analysis is performed employing a coupled-channel formalism with the scattering potential involving both one-pion exchange as well as short-range operators constrained by heavy quark spin symmetry. We find that the data can be well described in the hadronic molecular picture, which predicts seven $\Sigma_c^{(*)}\bar D^{(*)}$ molecular states in two spin multiplets. We also show that there is evidence for a narrow $\Sigma_c^*\bar D$ bound state in the data which we call $P_c(4380)$, different from the broad one reported by LHCb in 2015. With this state included, all predicted $\Sigma_c \bar D$, $\Sigma_c^* \bar D$, and $\Sigma_c \bar D^*$ hadronic molecules are seen in the data, while the missing three $\Sigma_c^*\bar D^*$ states are expected to be found in future runs of the LHC or in photoproduction experiments.

    Advances on the QCD phase diagram from Ward Identities and Hadron Effective Theories 25m
    
    I will review recent advances on the QCD phase diagram, regarding mostly the nature of the chiral phase transition and its interplay with $U(1)_A$ restoration. Ward Identities and Hadron Effective Theories will be the main theoretical tools. The former allow to establish the thermal behaviour of chiral and $U(1)_A$ partners whereas the latter turns out to be quite fruitful for certain observables of interest such as scalar and topological susceptibilities or to study chiral imbalance. Comparison to recent lattice data will be one of our main guidelines.

    Study of the X(6900) and evaluation of systematic uncertainties in the IAM 25m
    
    In this talk we would like to discuss a few aspects developed recently in 2011.00978 and 2010.13709. In the former work we study three approaches to dwell on the nature of the X(6900) from S-matrix techniques without assuming a specific dynamical model. We connect them, as well as with other techniques in the literature, and conclude that the J/psi-J/psi event distribution as measured by the LHCb collaboration is compatible with the X(6900) being a bare or elementary resonance. In the other part of the talk we consider those terms neglected in the Inverse Amplitude Method when unitarizing the NLO Chiral perturbative amplitudes, and bounded the uncertainty that arise from neglecting them when predicting the mass of the lightest resonance with the given quantum numbers. Explicit numbers are provided for the \rho(770).

    Effective field theory for double heavy baryons 25m
    
    I will describe a general procedure to build an effective theory for exotic hadrons with two heavy quarks at NLO in the 1/m expansion, m being the heavy quark mass. No assumption is made on the relative size of the bound state beyond the small velocity of the heavy quark motion. The effective theory needs a number of potentials as an input. I present an application to double heavy baryons for which lattice data for those potentials is available.

    Isospin violation in the decays of vector charmonia into $\Lambda \overline \Sigma^0 + \rm{c.c.}$ 25m
    
    Assuming the isospin conservation, the electromagnetic amplitudes of the decays $\psi \to \Lambda \overline \Sigma^0 + \rm{c.c.}$, where $\psi=J/\psi, \psi(2S)$, and of the processes $e^+e^- \to \Lambda \overline \Sigma{}^0 + \rm{c.c.}$ at the $\psi$ mass are parametrized by the same coupling. By using BESIII and BABAR data we find a substantial discrepancy between the values of the modulus of the same electromagnetic coupling extracted from the branching ratios and the cross sections. This fact suggests the presence of isospin-violating contributions, especially in the $\psi(2S)$ case.
